FreeCalcBox is a free collection of calculators built specifically for people in the UK. We started it because too many calculators online use American rules, hide the working, or are buried under pop-ups.
How we keep the numbers right
Every calculator is built from the official rules: HMRC for income tax, National Insurance and stamp duty; the Scottish Government and Revenue Scotland for Scottish tax and LBTT; the Welsh Revenue Authority for Land Transaction Tax; GOV.UK for statutory pay, the minimum wage and employment rights; and the NHS for health calculators. Each page lists the figures it uses and when they were last checked.
We review every calculator at the start of each tax year (6 April) and whenever the government changes a rate mid-year, such as after a Budget.
Your privacy
The calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are not sent to us or stored. See our privacy policy for details.
